THROUGH THE YEARS

 South Riding Women in Business was a networking group started in April of 2003 where we began formulating a strategy on how to promote and grow each others' businesses. Our purpose was to establish a networking group in South Riding for women in the local community who were active in their own business. We saw SRWB as an opportunity for its members to grow their respective businesses by mutually marketing the products and services its members sold.  At it's inception the group's goals were primarily to:
    Network through referrals
    Shape the community's attitude or perception of the products and services our members sell
    Create a sense of community spirit
    Showcase member services and products
    Create and market promotional materials
    Focus on direct and inexpensive advertising shared among the members
    Make a difference in the community by marketing products and services by women living in the community

As the world has changed, we have grown into new strategies.  We have tried and will continue to be willing to morph as needed to move forward in the ever changing business market to support each other as female entrepreneurs.  We remain committed to serving the needs of the entire Dulles South community with our personalized services and top quality products. Our membership is comprised of (but not limited to) women within the Dulles South area of Loudoun county.
